Goug
Ramza decided we had to follow that Cloud character. If not to find out what had gotten into him, or where he had come from, or even who or what that Sephiroth was that he mentioned, then at least to get him to apologise for his rude behaviour.
We thought he couldn’t have gone far. He was from another world and he would surely have to get his bearings around here. Well, we were wrong. Following the path of omnislashed monsters, it still took us days to catch up with him.
Trading city of Sal Ghidos
The trail of slain foes stopped in Sal Ghidos. The streets were quiet, but a brisk wind brought to us voices which sounded familiar. One to Ramza at least. He perked up and decided that he heard that flower girl from before and she sounded like she was in trouble. Mustadio snarled that he heard that Cloud figure’s voice as well. He must have been there too, and Mustadio still sought a few words with him.
It was decided then, we would step in… Only to face a band of ruffians, apparently out to extorting the poor flower girl. She ran off once the goons were distracted and behind them stood Cloud. Suffering a headache of sorts, it seemed, as he was howling and grabbing his head just before running off to a corner to cower for the remainder of the fight. And then he had the audacity to ask if he could join us and looted our armoury chest for that materia blade I found some time ago high up on that mountain.
Dammit, Cloud. Don’t make us regret this.
I am Bathsua, chaser of Clouds, and these are my memoirs.
