One-slash man
I have to say, since count Orlandeau joined our merry band, things have gotten easier. His swordplay techniques knock enemies out in one or two hits which allowed us some breathing room for other things that needed to be addressed. Seeing the count perform his swordplay did make me realise just how inexperienced we all were in the ways of war, so I had taken it upon myself to ask the illustrious Thunder God if he could teach us a thing or two.
In return for teaching him some other abilities that we were better versed in than he, he had proposed. Even after all his years of service, it turned out he knew little else beyond his infamous swordplay. He would like to know how to administer medicine and potions, if only for a start.
We had our work cut out for us.
Sal Ghidos
Meanwhile, Ramza was still itching to find Alma. He wanted to keep moving, confront Elmdore with his lies and subterfuge in Limberry and find her back. He couldn’t let his little sister down.
On our way to Limberry, we picked up an interesting rumour about the isle of Nelveska, but Ramza would hear nothing of it. He pressed on towards Limberry. We tried to chase him withour losing track of all the rumours – my level 6 adventurer senses were tingling with the rumours about the perils surrounding ancient temples on the isle of Nelveska, we needed to investigate! Surely Rapha could find us something! She wasn’t the bravest of people, but that actually gave her the opportunity to find better treasures because staying out of harms way often bought her enough time to dig deeper for treasure! – but we lost Ramza in the trade city of Sal Ghidos, when we all went to an Outfitter for a refitting of our gear before hitting the next Tavern.
We found him later, roaming the streets and holding a flower. 1 gil wasn’t that much, he claimed apologetically. The flower girl really wanted to sell it to him, how could he resist?
We had just spent 300,000 gil on gear and potions, Ramza, no one was going to complain about the 1 gil spent on a flower just to make a flower girl happy. And who knew, maybe the flower would come in handy too.
I am Bathsua, your friendly neighbourhood level 6 adventurer, and these are my memoirs.
