Chocobo wings

Walled city of Yardrow

Of course, when a damsel is in distress, the best course of action is to get to sidequesting. When a melee opened up in Yardrow in the month of Cancer, I, of course, jumped straight into it, with ninja stealth. Greg and Lavian joined, and we were off again for half a month. Why do these melees always last that long?

Now, when we went off for the melee, we still had that Chocobo infestation situation. Chocobos were still popping up everywhere. So how do we handle that infestation? Well, not good, since they keep coming back. But I would like to share with you squires what we have done so far.

Dismissal

To give you an idea of how hard I had found it to say goodbye to our Chocobos when they became too many, I will show you how it usually goes:

What sort of animals are we, really? Poor Chocobo!

I know, I know, little Chocobo!

This is torture! Can’t we keep this one?!

It… has… no… home. If you need me, I’ll be crying in the corner.

My bravery isn’t high enough to deal with these blows!

We were successful in finishing the melee and even won a grand prize, and I learned how to dual wield when Ramza and the others returned to the tavern in Yardrow. Though they had left with a small army of Chocobos, they had returned with only three. With Luso, the poacher, in our ranks, I must say I was slightly worried.

We wouldn’t be having Chocobo wings on our plate once we went on our way again, would we?

I am Bathsua, procrastinator extraordinaire, and these are my memoirs.
